Forest is featured in the book Working Musicians (Harper Entertainment, 2002) by Deems - Taylor Award Winner Bruce Pollock "Defining moments from the road, the studio and the stage!" and has written an Instructional DVD/Book published by Centerstream/ Hal Leonard titled Pedal Steel Licks for Guitar. He is also endorsed by E.M.G. Pickups, Seymour Duncan, S.I.T. Strings, G&L guitar, and Spin - Strap. Forest continues to work hard as a musician and is a highly respected member of the music community.
